Production of biohydrogen from wastes of different origin

Degree of project readiness:  MVP

To obtain hydrogen, a combination of two processes is proposed - anaerobic waste fermentation and a bioelectrochemical process, where hydrogen production occurs at the cathode of a microbial fuel cell (MFC).

Carbon dioxide formed during fermentation is utilized by microalgae.
