PROJECT № 241.

Smart device for a comprehensive assessment of the body state and self-diagnostics

City: Rivne

Project manager: Khrystuna Bindiuk

Degree of project readiness: Prototype

Our device is designed to quickly and efficiently collect information from compact sensors regarding the complex state of the body and further analyze them in order to establish an accurate diagnosis and provide recommendations for treating the patient, which will have an individual approach.

The diagnostic device will allow people to quickly establish their own diagnosis and get an effective treatment plan for the disease, which does not require immediate intervention by doctors and is not specific.

  1. Your system will collect data regarding a variety of different parameters. Will the data be analyzed to determine health vs. disease or will the data be used to measure changes from a baseline for individuals suffering from chronic disease? Will the collected data be shared with an individual's health care provider?

    1. Thanks for your questions.
Our system will compare the data from sensors with normal vital signs. If it is outside the norm, the device will record it and determine a disease. Moreover, a user will fill in a questionnaire where he can mark his chronic and genetic illnesses. Therefore, the device can be used for measuring changes from a baseline for patients with chronic sicknesses.
The recorded information will be available for an individual's care provider to get the most accurate result. In addition, it is necessary for situations when a patient will have abrupt changes of parameters, and medical care is needed.

  2. Does the system contain any "breakthrough" design aspects? What happens if the device data, if the device is lost or stolen?

    1. Thanks for your questions.
Firstly, the device has an automated power supply system and a set of sensors that is crucial for conducting a comprehensive assessment of organism's condition.
Secondly, the device data will be saved on a cloud platform. So, if the device data is lost, it won't be a big problem. Moreover, our gadget has a geolocation sensor which provides the information about location of the device.
